Sonja Malcolm, Licensed Professional Counselor
You remember a time when insecurity, anxiety, and fear weren’t the “norm” … but those days feel like a distant memory. Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?
I’m Sonja, and I help women just like you: ones that have it within them to be confident and thriving again, but just need the support to get there.
I help my clients find calm, happiness, and fulfillment by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand themselves and set clear boundaries to improve self-esteem and regain control in their lives.
Many of today’s solutions for anxiety can feel ‘one-size-fits-all’, leading so many women to feel like they’re not making real progress. I know that your life and experiences are unique, so I focus on connecting with you and building a relationship to make sure that every step we take is tailored to you and your individual goals.
First, we explore what you’ve been going through that has been causing the anxiety and overwhelm you’ve been experiencing. Then, we work together to determine the changes that you would like to see in your life that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll be equipped with the skills you need to thrive in your life.
I am dedicated to helping women live their best lives.
My extensive professional training means I have the expertise you need and deserve when working through anxiety. I bring compassion, insight, and over 10 years of experience to each session using a collaborative, nonjudgmental, systemic approach. I aim to create a safe place for clients to address issues using evidence-based interventions, and I privilege the individual goals of each client in our work together. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a high-achieving woman struggling with anxiety, right?
I’ve personally seen how well therapy works when you have a therapist you can connect with and who understand your experiences. I know that sometimes it all just feel so overwhelming and it’s hard to enjoy life when you’re feeling that way. So, when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
